Operational Resilience Manager (Flexi Time)

Location: 

 

UK, Central London
 

Your Role: 

This role is for a flexi hours Operational Resilience Manager as part of an outsourced team, based with a major financial services client in the City of London. 

 

You will oversee the day to day activities of the existing mature Operational Resilience Programme, undertaking expert project work in all business areas and reporting to the Division Lead in Operational Risk Management, Europe.

 

The position is set at twenty five hours per week, with some additional hours available, and is likely to suit an experienced practitioner looking to make a lifestyle change. The applicant should ideally hold an MBCI certification or alternative in risk management and be able to demonstrate considerable experience as a practitioner. Experience in financial services and some technical experience would be beneficial.

Your Duties:

 

·    Develop the clients existing Operational Resilience processes and program

·    Ensure that the European Group accurately reflects the needs of the business, regulators and is fit for purpose

·    Maintain and improve the client’s European program across multiple requirements

·    Engage with business areas to perform gap analysis, scenario testing and remediation work

·    Champion and execute projects with stakeholders

·    Plan, coordinate and report annual testing of both the program and separate associated entities

·    Point of contact advising members of the Crisis Management and Business Continuity Teams on Client Impact Tolerances

·    Ensure enterprise wide awareness is maintained

·    Be available, ‘on-call’ as part of the call out rota to support incident escalation and co-ordination
